As Red Rose Chain’s founder and artistic director, Jo Carrick has written and directed over 30 plays and films with the company. Joanna’s work is often characterised by meticulous historical research and attention to detail alongside stories with a real human heart. Joanna's recent plays include Different Buttons, Sammy's Room and The Magic Fishbone. Joanna has directed 13 summer seasons of Theatre In The Forest and specialises is making exciting, entertaining and accessible theatre with something for everyone to enjoy.
